PicSwitcher now offers the ability to create web pages to make it easier to present your pictures to others. This is done with just a few steps. First, select the "Web Page Creation" tab page of the main window:
Next, select the images you want to include in your web page by checking them in the image list, just as you would if you were converting them. After your pictures have been selected, you will need to select a basic template for the output page. PicSwitcher provides a few basic templates (basic, but not fancy!) for you to start with. (You can create your own template pages. See the reference section of the product documentation for more information.)
Once you have selected the template you wish to use, you can set the size of the image thumbnails. The size is selected in pixels, the default measurement for on-screen images.
The thumbnail images created are shown in a table. The number of columns in the table is selected under the "Thumbnails" group as well. (More options are available; more about that in a minute.)
Select the type of output you wish to see after the page is converted. By default the web page will be opened in your preferred web browser, and the Windows Explorer will be opened to show you the contents of the folder so you can easily upload the contents of the directory to your web site using your favorite transfer software.
Many more options are available for the web page as well. Click on the "Advanced" button to bring up the following screen:
Here you can select the default filename for the web page, the page title, a header and footer, the border thickness, and make changes to multiple other thumbnail settings. Once you have adjusted these settings to your liking, press the "OK" button.
When you are ready to create your web page, click the "Save HTML Page" button.
